Today’s cards: Two of Pentacles, Eight of Pentacles, & Healer.

It started out as a fun little thing, but turned into a repetitive chore and grind that has all but burnt out the joy you originally had. You have made the mistake of equating productivity with purpose, of equating technical mastery with personal fulfillment. Put the tools away and walk away from the projects for a while. Rediscover what made you take them up in the first place, and consider whether it’s time to move on to something else, or if you can renew your focus and continue on. The important thing to consider is your well-being, and not the judgement and/or praises by those who have no idea what it costs you.

A luxurious white and gold deck of 80 hand painted and foil stamped cards that represents the stories, traditions, and heritages that humans create and pass forth in their journey to conquer the most eternal and timeless of enemies; the ephemerality and temporality of life. Inspired by odysseys and epics of old, the major arcana cards have been reimagined as a “hero’s journey” in place of the classic “fool’s journey”. The majority of the major arcana cards retain strong parallels to traditional Rider Waite-Smith counterparts, though a small number are completely new. Cards painted by Arthur Wang. Card meanings co-written by Arthur Wang and Mat Auryn. The Ephemere Tarot is ©TrueBlack, LLC.

No context or query is given to frame what the cards say as the posts are reading samples and not personal instruction. The result is sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, and usually surprising. All readers are invited to leave a comment about what they perceive in the random spread as each person will interact with the cards in their own way.

Personalized, direct, and private cartomancy readings are available via Ko-Fi: Noxporium.
