Today’s cards: Tree – 5, Rider – 1, & Anchor – 35.

Stop. Sit still for a moment. Breathe. Feel that? How despite everything going on around you, going on with you, going on in you, you’re still here? That is the quiet encouragement of your ancestors telling you to hold on. Hold fast. Keep going. This is not the time to give up, but the time to get stubborn and do what needs to be done to come through.

This 39 card deck by Caitlín Matthews and Virginia Lee includes two sets of Man and Woman cards, along with an extra Diviner card. The two sets of Man and Woman allows the reading to be tailored to the circumstances of the Querent. One pair is portrayed with light skin and the other pair is portrayed with dark skin. The unused cards are removed from the deck before shuffling. The Diviner (37) is not required for Lenormand reading. However, I include it with my throws as it makes an excellent “Stop Card” when first on the table and a “pay attention to what follows” card when appearing elsewhere. What Does The Deck Say” is a weekday series of 3 card pulls from a cartomancy deck. No context or query is given to frame what the cards say as the posts are reading samples and not personal instruction. The result is sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, and usually surprising. All readers are invited to leave a comment about what they perceive in the random spread as each person will interact with the cards in their own way.

Personalized, direct, and private cartomancy readings are available via Ko-Fi: Noxporium.
