What Does The Deck Say? November 11, 2019

Wyzard of Odd: Five of Cups, Ace of Wands, & The Emperor [IV].

Bryan Lahr’s Wyzard of Odd tarot deck is constructed with images of literally smoke and mirrors, and has the margins lined with correspondences from other religious and esoteric practices. The slightly oversize deck is also good for single card contemplation as the images fold onto themselves and the viewer.

Today’s cards: Five of Cups, Ace of Wands, & The Emperor [IV].

Enough. The cards aren’t telling you to shut up and deal with it. The cards are telling you that it’s time to get up with what you have left and deal with it. And if that means to scream, scream. If that means to work, work. If that means to sit out on the balcony with a cup of mocha while it’s raining and start putting the pieces of your life back together, then do just that. (Marshmallows optional.) But it’s time to get up. There is help if you need it, but you do have to ask.
