Life hurts. Nothing ever goes right. And today in particular sucks. Right? Wait. Which calendar are you looking at? Some folks carry the memory of the nice things from their past forward with them, and some folks carry the memory of the not-nice things from their past forward with them. Which memories you choose to carry forward become the seeds of what you make today. I’m not saying to ignore the hurting parts or to ignore the painful lessons of survival. I’m saying let today make its own memories to store without wrapping them in what happened before.
