Universal Waite: 5 of Swords (reversed), The Sun [XIX], & 2 of Wands (reversed).

What Does The Deck Say? December 16, 2019

Today’s cards: 5 of Swords (reversed), The Sun [XIX], & 2 of Wands (reversed).

The day begins with what appears to be a victory, but don’t be too quick to announce your crushing triumph over those who didn’t have an issue with you before, but do now. As the day unfolds, it will be clear not only what kind of victory you are claiming, but what is the cost of being associated with victorious people such as yourself. The price of the morning will be felt in the afternoon, as those who have chosen to be humane to their fellows leave you in the company of your regret.

The Universal Waite is Mary Hanson-Roberts’ recolored rendition of the Waite-Smith deck. Nearly identical lining is softened by gentle coloring. Some faces have been reworked to be more pleasing to the eye. The Universal Waite Tarot is ©US Games Systems, Inc.
