The Universal Waite is Mary Hanson-Roberts’ recolored rendition of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Nearly identical lining is softened by gentle coloring. Some faces have been reworked to be more pleasing to the eye.

Bite the bullet and work through it. Today’s message is not the justification you want, not the history you already know, not the surprise that shows you the big picture. Today is pain, and the command to work through that pain because it is not a permanent thing. You are not waiting for the Happy Ever After. That doesn’t come through patience. You have to seek it, seize it, and bind it to you with lashings thick with tears and blood. So bite down on today. Tear a piece off if it helps. Unclench your hands and begin.
