The Universal Waite is Mary Hanson-Roberts’ recolored rendition of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Nearly identical lining is softened by gentle coloring. Some faces have been reworked to be more pleasing to the eye.

The fool is content in his ignorance. But once that ignorance is pierced, he is confronted with all the harm he has done in that ignorance. If he can accept his part in this, properly mourn what can not be restored, then and only then, is he able to begin the path to wisdom.
