30 Days of Tarot: Bonus

30 Days of Tarot — Bonus: If you could create one card to add to your deck, what would it be called and what would the card’s meaning be?

I can’t decide between “The Ineffable” and “The Wall”. Both are good.

“The Ineffable” would be a numberless blank card. Usable in both a full deck and a Majors only deck, it would ideally be white with no markings other than the borders (if any) of the rest of the deck. Having no orientation, when it appears it means the answer sought after can not be found in the mundane realm. If the Querent is spiritual and/or religious, then it will refer the Querent to seek the answers in their beliefs. If not, it will inform the Querent that the answer can not be determined at this time but will be revealed as other events unfold.

“The Wall” would also be numberless. At its most simplistic rendering, it would be a completely black card. Otherwise, a rendition of a cinderblock or brick wall covering the entirety of the frame would do. It’s answer is basically, “Not telling”. The reader will have hit a block in the divination and that answer will not be forthcoming anytime soon.

If either card is the first card on the table, then the diviner should abandon the reading. If they wish to push their luck, then waiting two hours before getting back into the metaphorical waters is advised.

Either card would relieve the 7 of Pentacles from its current duty as my Stop Card.
