“Thaumbody” inquires: “I’m half of an LGBTQIA radio show on KZUM in Lincoln, NE. I’ve enjoyed sharing music, news and interviews with listeners. Of late, it’s gotten stressful & unfulfilling. Few seem to listen to us. What should I do?”
La Baraja Española 48: 10 Copas, 5 Copas, & 10 Bastos.
The cards say the bloom is off the rose and the optimism that fueled you before is starting to run out. (The cards are also cruelly obvious.) Now that you have more experience on the matter, take a fresh look at your endeavor but with those wiser eyes. Why did you start in the first place? What is your “mission statement”? Does your licensing allow you to post podcasts of your shows? And if so, have you shared it? The 10 Bastos is the card of the Passionate One. Remember why you started before, then start again. (P.S. If you do have online podcasts available, would you drop a link in the comments, please?)

Yeah, the optimism is fading. The reason is the same, to share news, views (our own and others), and MUSIC. Okay, so usually only five songs a week, but sometimes more.
To listen live, it’s 11:00 a.m. Central Time on Sundays for prior shows, there are two podcast choices. The official station (sans music because of license issues) is http://www.kzum.org/index.php/programming/podcasts/item/15
The podcasts with music are at http://pmpchannel.com/lavender-hill/ and http://www.blogtalkradio.com/pagan-musings my co-host Phil’s Pagan Channel.
There is a Facebook page, a Twitter feed and a Google+. Lavender Hill KZUM should get you to them.
