Today’s cards: A green feather hovers over a glass filled with red fluid against a yellow background, a yellow feather hovers over a glass filled with blue fluid against a red background, and a yellow (right) hand reaches up against a red background.
What you want and what you need are two different things, but you can only take one of them today. What you want is what is comfortable, predictable, and reliable, even though it does not help you with your needs today. What you need is bitter, unpleasant, and is not always a sure thing to have, which will do nothing for your comfort and sense of self today. Take it anyway. By taking care of what needs to happen today, you will place yourself in position for a more satisfying comfort tomorrow.
The Motif Deck is a unique cartomancy system designed and painted by Lee Bradford where the images have no inherent meaning, and so it’s up to the reader to assign significance. The cards consist of seven objects interacting with each other: hand, candle, rose, feather, key, string, and cup. Each image consists of one or two of these items on a plain colored background. These images were designed to be meaningless – they are just objects. What gives them meaning is the combination of color, frequency, placement, and interpretation from the querent and the reader. “Three Random Cards” is a weekday series of 3 card pulls from a cartomancy deck. No context or query is given to frame what the cards say as the posts are reading samples and not personal instruction. The result is sometimes humorous, sometimes serious, and usually surprising. All readers are invited to leave a comment about what they perceive in the random spread as each person will interact with the cards in their own way.
Personalized, direct, and private cartomancy readings are available via Ko-Fi: Noxporium.
