Card: The Empress – III.
Short Answer: You have more assets available at your disposal than you are aware of, however you are not always the person in control of those assets. If you are not content with that, you will have to change your circumstances.
Not So Short Answer: The Empress card is a representation of bounty, potential, and future increase. What she is not a representation of is the control and dispersion of those assets. So while you are in a point in your life that you are able to collect and hold on to things that make you happy and/or give you the potential to better your life as you go, the decision of what to use and when will often be in someone else’s hands. Most likely, a parent, guardian, employer, and/or spiritual advisor should you have one.
For some people, this arrangement suits them just fine. Their skill set and personality permits them to be comfortable in this role. But for others, this is an abrasive circumstance that gives them no comfort. If you find yourself dissatisfied with the restrictions that come with the role, it falls on you to find a way to break free. However, keep in mind that leaving the role of the Empress often means leaving the benefits as well. It will be a tradeoff between comfort and freedom.
It falls to you to decide which you prefer, and then begin the work necessary to achieve your desired end goal.
