30 Days of Tarot — Day 27: Do you have a special time and/or place that you use your Tarot? If so, do you reserve the deck specifically for that purpose?

Time: When it needs to be done. Place: Where I’m at when it happens.

Rather than a list of when and where, I have a list of ‘nots’. I won’t read in a place that is hostile to tarot readers. I won’t read when I am too emotionally overcome to remove myself from the cards, the Querent, and the query. I won’t lay cards on someone else’s altar, shrine, or place that is spiritually and/or religiously dedicated.

Every when else, and every place else is fair game for me. No surface is too dirty, that’s what reading cloths are for. The surface has to be really cruddy to make a denim reading cloth unsuitable, after all.
