The Fey Tarot is the work of Mara Aghem. While the card names mostly track conventional tarot naming, the scenes differ from Pamela Coleman Smith’s renditions. Not all minors display the full pip count of their number. Rather, the scenes are meant to evoke the intuition of the reader rather than depend on long lists of regurgitated meanings.

“But that’s the way it has always been done!” Yes. It was. Blindly following tradition for the sake of tradition leads to being addicted to the tradition. The world changes. Circumstances can make the traditional method the worst action to follow. Look up from the comfort of the well-worn path. What lies before you? What will you do when the outcome is not what you expected? Don’t allow yourself to be shackled to destructive habits.
