What Does The Deck Say? September 07 2015

The Fey Tarot is the work of Mara Aghem. While the card names mostly track conventional tarot naming, the scenes differ from Pamela Coleman Smith’s renditions. Not all minors display the full pip count of their number. Rather, the scenes are meant to evoke the intuition of the reader rather than depend on long lists of regurgitated meanings.

Today’s cards: 9 of Swords, The Magician, & 10 of Chalices.

You’ve been telling everyone that you’re fine, but I don’t need to flip cards to see you’re not sleeping well. This thing you are wrestling under seems daunting right now, but you’re forgetting two important things. One, you’re looking at your emotional response and mistaking it for the facts of the situation. It’s not as bad as your nerves say it is, but you have to stand up to yourself if you’re going to see that. And two, you’re not as helpless about the situation as your nerves say you are. You have more resources at hand than you think you do, and not all of them are as straightforward as a baseball bat. You can still turn this situation around and make a happy ending from it. But to do so, you’re going to have to challenge yourself and find a different way to get it done. I have faith in you. Begin.
