What was supposed to be solace turned into savagery as even the little that was kept was taken away. It’s going to be a lean time ahead as what was kept for situations like this are quickly taken or used. Charity, physical and/or emotional, may be the only thing that is going to keep the feet moving towards tomorrow, even as tomorrow isn’t promised today.
