So that happened. After the shock wears off, you have work to do if you are going to recover. You need to inspect yourself internally (and not just a physical checkup, though that wouldn’t hurt). Your beliefs, your reasoning, your excuses, and your biases all get to stand and deliver for themselves. You put yourself into this mess with some broken assumptions. If you want out of it, you’ll have to face the truth you’ve been trying hard to not see and face yourself in the process. Work methodically and with deliberation.
