Today’s cards: Eight of Coins (reversed), Lovers [VI] (reversed), & Wheel of Fortune [X] (reversed).

It’s over. You knew that. It has been over for a long time, but you keep punishing yourself for the fact that it failed without looking at why it failed in the first place. This isn’t gleaning new lessons from old experiences. This is torture. This is giving guilt room and board for something that is already closed and settled. It will take work to let it go. Acknowledging that you’re doing this to yourself is the first step.

The Modern Spellcaster’s Tarot is created by Melanie Marquis and illustrated by Scott Murphy. Breaking with popular thought, this deck assigns the element of Fire to the suit of Swords and the element of Air to the suit of Wands. Blending contemporary and pagan scenes, the deck can be a collection of visual art or a tool for magical act. The Modern Spellcaster’s Tarot is ©Llewellyn Publications.
