Why can’t it be like the good ole days, when you could have anything you wanted and there were little to no consequences for your indulgences? Consequences like what you are facing now, perhaps? Today, the indulgence of looking back to your preferred version of history is the worst trap you can set foot in. You must be frank about not only what happened then, but what is happening now. Seeing your history for what it really was is the only way you are going to make it through the present.
