The Universal Waite is Mary Hanson-Roberts’ recolored rendition of the Rider-Waite-Smith deck. Nearly identical lining is softened by gentle coloring. Some faces have been reworked to be more pleasing to the eye.

Funny how “thinking” and “doing” are often held as hostile actions to each other. Thinking without doing gets nothing done. Doing without thinking wastes resources. The two are not in opposition to each other. It’s not a matter of finding a compromise, it’s a matter of finding the balance to put both to work with each other.
