Baraja Azteca: 9 Espadas, 3 Copas, & 11 Bastos.

Today’s cards: 9 Espadas, 3 Copas, & 11 Bastos.

So much for a quiet day. The news will arrive as a whisper. The consequences will shake the foundation of your peace. Be wary of who you go to for solace and advice. Even though they may have dedicated themselves to the assistance of others, every person still has their own personal agenda to pursue. You’ll be shook up enough as it is. The last thing you want is for someone to turn around and blame you for things out of your control.

A Baraja Española deck, the Baraja Azteca is a 48 card deck of playing cards used for such games as Brisca, Tute, and Mus. This 48-card variant of the deck contains four suits; Oros (Coins), Bastos (Clubs), Espadas (Swords), and Copas (Cups). While the deck is made primarily for play, it functions well as a divination tool. Each reader uses their own personal understanding and intuition to interpret the cards.
