One of many Baraja Española decks, the “Baraja Azteca – As de Oro” is a 48 card deck of playing cards used for such games as Brisca, Tute, and Mus. This 48-card variant of the deck contains four suits; Oros (Coins), Bastos (Clubs), Espadas (Swords), and Copas (Cups). While the deck is made primarily for play, it functions well as a divination tool. Each reader uses their own personal understanding and intuition to interpret the cards.
Today’s cards: 9 Bastos, 5 Copas, & 11 Bastos.
This is a good day to expect the Spanish Inquisition. What should be a good thing is going to be turned on its head and used as the excuse to attempt to burn you down. Jealousy comes from the last person you would expect, so flash the horns and spit behind you to remind that person that you are just as a formidable force as they.
