What Does The Deck Say? January 31 2015

The Bosch Tarot is a series of collages based on the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch. Using a unique set of meanings that is not derived from Waite, it will sometimes read direct, and sometimes read like a koan. It is a good deck for introspection and examination of internal motives.

Today’s cards: The Moon, The Emperor, & Queen of Chalices.

What you focus on in a memory, rewrites that memory to enhance it. Doing so can bring you insight about something you missed when the initial event took place, but be aware that doing so can also write new events in old scenes. Memory is not immune from alteration. When remembering something that brought great emotion, ask yourself if you are remembering what really happened then, or if you are changing the past to suit your desired present.
