The Sweeney Tarot was designed to read with reversals. Having the expected 78 cards, one could use any system of meanings with it. However Lee Bradford has put deep thought into the meanings of the Sweeney Tarot, making sure it is approachable by all and without occult or religious concerns that would restrict its audience or use.

If you want out of the bullshit you have found yourself deeply mired in, you’re going to have to make some sacrifices. You can’t save everything, so save the things that matter. It will take some hard looks at yourself, your beliefs, and the symbols of those beliefs, but if what you are willing to place yourself first, then you will save yourself first. After you emerge, remember what it took to survive and make adjustments to your life accordingly. Not everything that went in with you is going to come out. Not everything that comes out with you had originally gone in. This is your chance to remake yourself.
