What Does The Deck Say? February 23, 2021

Baraja Azteca: 1 Copa, 10 Oros, & 10 Bastos.

Today’s cards: 1 Copa, 10 Oros, & 10 Bastos.

Ah, nostalgia. Remember when that happened? Are you remembering it as it actually happened and not your ideal of what you wanted to happen? Beware those who are so fond of their memory that they are willing to bend your reality to fit them. They will break everyone in their pursuit of a memory that never happened.

A Baraja Española deck, the “Baraja Azteca – As de Oro” is a 48 card deck of playing cards used for such games as Brisca, Tute, and Mus. This 48-card variant of the deck contains four suits; Oros (Coins), Bastos (Clubs), Espadas (Swords), and Copas (Cups). While the deck is made primarily for play, it functions well as a divination tool. Each reader uses their own personal understanding and intuition to interpret the cards.
