What Does The Deck Say? February 20 2017

The Fey Tarot is the work of Mara Aghem. While the card names mostly track conventional tarot naming, the scenes differ from Pamela Coleman Smith’s renditions. Not all minors display the full pip count of their number. Rather, the scenes are meant to evoke the intuition of the reader rather than depend on long lists of regurgitated meanings.

Today’s cards: 5 of Swords, 3 of Swords, & Knight of Wands.

No amount of regret or remorse is going to erase the fact that it happened, or that you had a hand in it. Wounds do not unravel, but they can heal. Turn your attention away from what happened then, and face what is happening to you now. Yes, you’ll have to confront uncomfortable things, but if that wound in your soul and/or in your body is not properly addressed, you will suffer more damage than what originally happened. And then, after the salve has been applied and the dressing has been placed, go. There is much “out there” still waiting for you to see, waiting for you to experience. Even if all you can do is sit by the window and watch the bugs go by, it is still something more to do than poking at the wound that needs to heal.
