The problem with strong emotions is that we tend to feel them one at a time. When you find yourself in the midst of the deep, don’t try to force yourself to feel otherwise. The emotion you are having is the emotion you are having at that moment. Instead, remember the peaks you have been, know that you will be there again, and let that be the light that sees you through.
