The Sweeney Tarot was designed to read with reversals. Having the expected 78 cards, one could use any system of meanings with it. However Lee Bradford has put deep thought into the meanings of the Sweeney Tarot, making sure it is approachable by all and without occult or religious concerns that would restrict its audience or use.

Today’s cards: King of Wands, The Lovers [VI] (reversed), & Death [XIII].

The cards are not permitting a generic and contextless interpretation this time. Despite the lack of query or focused intent, there is a specific message that is clear to me that is not intended for me to receive, only to pass along. It is my aim to avoid these type of “blind shot” readings for the weekday cards, however this time I am unable to do anything else but. Very well then.
