Be silent. Hold still. Watch both those who know better and those who don’t know better walk away from the goal because it doesn’t meet their ideals. Once the resource becomes available to you, ask yourself if you will be able to integrate the prize into your work. If you can, then do so. If you can’t, then leave it for someone else to pick up. Don’t burden yourself unnecessarily.
