What Does The Deck Say? August 04 2014

The Fey Tarot is the work of Mara Aghem and Riccardo Minetti. While the card names mostly track conventional tarot naming, the scenes differ from Pamela Coleman Smith’s renditions. Not all minors display the full pip count of their number. Rather, the scenes are meant to evoke the intuition of the reader rather than depend on long lists of regurgitated meanings.

Today’s cards: The Stars, 4 of Swords, & King of Swords.

You saw the path clearly, and you took it anyway. You understood that giving yourself over to this decision was the right thing to do, despite the deep personal cost. You have become something new, something fearsome to others. But the same responsibility others shirk from keeps you upright. It’s a hard job, but someone has to do it, and you are doing it well.
