The pain is unavoidable. What you do with that pain determines where your love life is going to turn next. If you focus on the pain, on the heartache, on the now, then you’ll never leave it. If you allow yourself time to process what happened, process why it hurt so much, and process why you responded the way you did, then your love life will improve. I’m not saying you have to love yourself first before you can be loved. I’m saying you have to understand why you are hurting before you can work on healing it.
