Free Card Reading: Laguz

Modern Spellcaster's Tarot: Queen of Swords, Two of Wands (reversed), Magician [I] (reversed), and Sun [XIX].

Laguz asks: “I’m overwhelmed with car problems, house problems & medical bills. I know that I need to prioritize and then take steps. What should I focus on 1st? What is the best approach?”

The Modern Spellcaster Tarot answers: Queen of Swords, Two of Wands (reversed), Magician [I] (reversed), and Sun [XIX].

Unfortunately, this is not a “one-card” question. Fortunately, I’m in the process of reworking my free offerings anyway, so I am going to be indulgent and ignore the restriction that your submittal was received under.

The first three cards relate to your car problems, house problems, and medical bills respectively. They are simple Yes/No questions with a side serving of context. The answer to what you should focus on first is your car problems, as evidenced with the Queen of Swords being the only upright card of the three. One of the keywords for this card in this deck is “determination”, which fits your circumstances. Once you get the car problems handled to the point where they are just an annoyance and no longer a capital P Problem, the car will literally help you resolve the other two faster.

The reversed Two of Wands speaks to your house problems being currently beyond what you can resolve. Someone is not holding up their end of the bargain and if you wait for them to come around, you’ll lose the advantage on what other issues you can fix right now. The reversed Magician testifies that your initial plan of attack is an incomplete one. You don’t have all the information you need to press forward right now. In those times that you’re waiting for a step to finish with the car, assemble your bills, proofs of payments, and contact numbers and emails. Challenge what you can challenge and set up a payment plan for what you can’t.

The best approach is represented by the Sun. Don’t hide anything from yourself. Bring the light of inspection and look over not only what has worked but what hasn’t. There is a lesson in the areas you have fallen down, but you have to pick your ego up off the floor to see them. Keep your progress visible so deadlines won’t sneak past you. And when you see a weakness, don’t hide it, shore it up and protect it so you can keep going.

One step at a time, please and thank you. You’ll make it.
