What Does The Deck Say? August 14 2016

One of many Baraja Española decks, The Baraja Azteca is a 48 card deck of playing cards used for such games as Brisca, Tute, and Mus. This 48-card variant of the deck contains four suits; Oros (Coins), Bastos (Clubs), Espadas (Swords), and Copas (Cups). While the deck is made primarily for play, it functions well as a divinatory tool. Each reader uses their own personal understanding and intuition to interpret the cards.

Today’s cards: 12 Oros, 3 Oros, & 8 Copas.

You want the thing, but you’re not sure how you’re going to get the thing. Get some paper and a pen or pencil. Start writing down all the ways you can think of to get the thing. Cross out the ways that just won’t work or that depend on too many other things going exactly right. On another sheet or in a separate column, write down all the ways you might be prevented of getting the thing. Cross out the ways you can easily overcome or are just expressions of your fear. Both lists are going to be dramatically shorter. congratulations, you are one step closer to getting the thing. Continue analyzing the situation until you have a plan (or two) for getting the thing that is actually doable. Getting the thing won’t be as easy as getting ice cream, but it will be much more pleasurable to attain. Good luck. Have fun along the way. Get to it.
