Free Cartomancy Readings – December 23, 2024

The 9 of Pentacles card from the Bosch Tarot. A strange humanoid figure with an elongated face stands on a broken road. One knee is placed on a simple wooden prosthetic peg and a crutch hangs from their waist. With one hand they gesture to a small hooded creature on the road. With the other hand, they steady a large unwieldy basket filled with nine golden platters. The Bosch Tarot is ©Lo Scarabeo.

Request: How do I open my eyes over there?

Card: 9 of Pentacles

Answer: Start by opening your eyes over here. What have you been overlooking because it’s “simple” or “here all the time” or “not worth paying attention to”? What everyday things have slipped past your attention because you have focused on something that may well be very important, but was it so important that you permitted it to eclipse everything else? It’s not just the clouds and the birds that you should be looking at. How is the way you are moving through the world impacting everyone else? Do you flow through the world or do you barrel through it? Do you hear “I’m fine” or do you hear the undertone that tells the speaker is not fine at all? Are you taking the shopping cart to the cart stall or just leaving it there because it’s someone else’s job to corral them? How you move through this world will determine how you move through that world. If you are not paying attention here, you will not pay attention there.

The Bosch Tarot is a series of collages based on the paintings of Hieronymus Bosch. Using a unique set of meanings that doesn’t always aligns with Waite, it will sometimes read direct, and sometimes read like a koan. It is a good deck for introspection and examination of internal motives. The Bosch Tarot is presented by Atanas A. Atanassov and ©Lo Scarabeo.
